I AM Zachary S. Fritzsche – the Founder and Sole General Managing Partner of Fritzsche Capital, an Alternative Asset Management firm specializing in event-driven strategies across biotechnology, technology sectors and beyond. The firm includes a HedgeFund, Venture Capital, Fine Art, Cryptocurrency Strategies and Philanthropic endeavors. Lastly The Vault – a space for teaching, new connections, mentorship, and collaboration, this reflects his commitment to creativity, innovation, and excellence. Zachary takes pride in owning 100% of his ventures, valuing the freedom to execute his vision and lead on his own terms. Trusting himself and the universe to guide decisions independently. VISION AND INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
Zachary approaches markets with discipline, Integrity, conviction, and a deep understanding of volatility and human behavior. He has spent over a decade studying the intersection of innovation and psychology, seeking opportunities where disruption and timing converge. His investment style began with 5 minute intraday time-series trading and now spans multiple instruments and time horizons, emphasizing patience, long-term strategy, and the pursuit of mastery in both craft and capital growth.
At the height of his career, Zachary realized that external success alone does not bring fulfillment. He had made it to New York City, Working at his dream Company Bloomberg who he had read financial news from for years, yet something was missing. He often thought “what if I worked this hard on my dreams”. True satisfaction, he discovered, comes from self-mastery, excellence, and purpose — the principles that now define both Fritzsche Capital and Ritzsche (His Fine Artisan Jewelry Company). These ventures are not just businesses; they are extensions of his values and his ability to leave a meaningful legacy. Fritzsche Capital showcases over a decade of perfecting his technical skills. Ritzsche is his first startup inspired by a mentors own entrepreneurial journey in the space which has been a creative outlet that he enjoys equally as much as finance.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Before founding Fritzsche Capital, Zachary traded in Mid-Large Cap Biotechnology and Technology Companies for 10 years, he also built experience in venture capital operations, equity trading, and portfolio company management, developing expertise in capital deployment, risk management, and strategic execution. His time in Venture Capital is one of his favorite chapters in his career. He also has overseen capital calls, distributions, IPO’s, and process optimization for leading fund-of-funds. Two years at Bloomberg sharpened his analytical and quantitative skills, exchange data insights, which he applies daily in research, backtesting, and strategic decision-making. Following Bloomberg, Zachary Pivoted back into Finance working for the TCW Group in New York City, this firm changed his life investing in his career development when he was rebuilding his life, and getting him licensed as a Registered Representative which was a career goal. TCW provides further knowledge in the Financial Industry being around top global talent.
Learning Fundamentals first in trading gave Zachary a great understanding on what was being reflected in the price of stock. A companies stocks intrinsic value is always being reshaped by global markets and a companies own trajectory and evolution. He focuses now primarily on Technical analysis, knowing all the available information is reflected in the stock price. Developing his trading skills has been the highlight of his career. Over a decade of researching companies, trading even on red book years while learning has been a privilege.

Personal Adversity → Strength
Zachary’s journey has been defined by resilience and independence. Born in Salt Lake City with an interest in all things. As a child he took interest in architecture, almanacs, global countries products and statistics. His favorite computer games were Sim City and Rollercoaster Tycoon. He took on the sport of swimming, he loved that it was a sport that was an escape. When he was swimming he found peace away from an extremely turbulent traumatic childhood. However he had not discovered Wall Street until high school. His family went through the 2008 Financial Crisis and he believed medicine was the stable “safe” path graduating high school with 6 collegee credits in Anatomy and Terminology he did not explore any of his keen interests in business. He has learned the value of standing alone and being resourceful— owning his decisions, vision, and path. He is self-made, switching majors from medicine to finance pursuing a higher education paying for his college tuition out of pocket by teaching himself at 18 how to trade stocks, read 10-K’s and follow the markets thanks to Brokering with Ameritrade and utilizing their ThinkorSwim platform with extensive resources to learn. He funded trading by working multiple college gigs from selling printers, fundraising for environment causes, cold calling in real estate, bank teller, managing a grilled cheese restaurant chain, selling solar, working as a host, debt consolidation, investor relations, Control 4 home audio installations, and then eventually graduating from the University of Utah at 23 with His Bachelors Degree in Finance.
At the University of Utah he also was involved with the Sorenson impact foundation which was his first real hands on experience in Venture Capital. He is a first generational college graduate. He spent three years in Los Angeles working in Venture Capital before moving to New York City at 26, where the city’s energy, ambition, and global talent reshaped him into the man he is today. Zachary loves New York — believing it to be the center of the universe, where innovation, leadership, and opportunity converge across all industries. The only requirement in New York City is to be your authentic self, and it will bring this out in you if you stay long enough.
He also faced addiction and identity struggles in his mid-twenties but transformed these challenges into a lens of discipline, empathy, and grit. Renewing his outlook on life on February 9th 2026, Ultimately founding an Artisan Fine Jewelry company- Ritzsche at 28 and launching on February 10th 2026 then establishing Fritzsche Capital at 29 on February 11th 2026. In a field often defined by money and power, he seeks to bring vision, integrity, and humanity. Overcoming addiction and getting sober was the hardest thing he has ever done and it brought lessons that can’t be paid for, or taught. He thanks Mount Sinai West And Mount Sinai Rivington locations, Bellevue and Wellbridge for aiding in his treatment and progress to with the top industry experts guiding him to better understand himself. They are collectively the best at what they do.
The only thing that changes when changing your life, is everything. He views is sobriety as his biggest asset and the key to the foundational framework essential to all he does.
Zachary pursued his EMBA through Columbia Business School. Columbias central location in New York City, the city he calls his HQ made this his top pick. Sitting in on EMBA admission panels the alumni inspired him, collaboration is at Columbias core which excited him, the conversations were electrifying and he finally felt like he belonged somewhere and met people who think like him. Ivy League felt attainable, his Undergraduate degree was a way out of Utah and a means to provide a better life for himself. He knew his Bachelors degree was something he always wanted to achieve his big dreams however Columbia and an EMBA seemed like it was meant to be, and to obtain this degree to develop essential skills for future leadership within Finance and his own companies from this top tier school.
Philanthropy and supporting visionary founders through Venture Capital investments are central to his mission, reflecting his commitment to excellence and purposeful impact. Sustainability and preservation of Earth – are at the forefront of his goals and longterm vision. Mental health and leaving toxic environments so an individuals strengths can be the forefront of ones identity. Not be dulled by being the diamond in a coal mine. It’s good to see the good in those around you, however trust the Devine force within you. Both can coexist.
Life & Passion
Zachary is passionate about travel, finance, freedom, exotic cars, collectibles, fashion, art, history, the outdoors, reading books, anything Neville Goddard or Alan Watts and experiencing life fully, embracing different cultures, ideas, and perspectives. He believes that exploration — of both the world and oneself — is key to insight, creativity, and wisdom. Overcoming so much adversity has allowed for him to enjoy the little things in life. For him, success is measured not only by financial performance but by growth, fulfillment, and living a life aligned with one’s highest values. A perfect day for Zachary would be to go for a hike, relax on the beach and read a good book followed by dinner over sushi and a good conversation.
